Cat owners often notice how their dear pets are "watching" TV. Some pet owners even swear that their cat follows with great interest what is happening on said TV. What do they actually see, though, while "watching" Television? The answer is given by international experts, quoted from "Mental Floss".

Specialists explain, that cats almost always see their surrounding world in black and white. Their vision however processes what is happening on the television screen the same way we do. The cats however, are hardly interested in what is happening.

Therefore, they simply react to sudden movements or other animals and potential prey, which often leads to them comedically attacking the screen.
