Thousands of years ago, when the first cat decided to join the humans it must have thought:

As it's to be expected, when doing hte blanket challange where you drop a blanket after you run away from behind it, a dog will be ocncerned and check where you went, a cat woulldm't care less..

The not so rivals.

Cats and dogs do not have to be rivals, however. Here we can see an example of a grown pup having made peace with thekitties srroudning him, keeping them safe.
