Cat plays with shoe

For a long time I thought that only dogs were the ones with the affinity for playing with shoes, but soon I was suprised to learn that that is incorrect. I have a cat, around twelve years old. He's not been a kitty for a long time and has been quite a long time since he was able to fit in a shoe, leaning more towards scratching it up. Lately, I discovered that his favorite toy is my shoe. It has been a mystery to me for a long time how I see one of my older shoes lying in the middle of the hallway. I had tried to remember when I last pulled them out or wore them, but that wasn't for a long while now. I shoved it back under the shoe cabinet where it belongs, and yet, the next time I see it lying in the middle of the hallway again. The same happened multiple times, until I saw this little feline stick a claw in it and pull it out himself.and start playing with it. I decided to let go the shoe as it was already quite old and covered in claw marks. I shoved it back under the shoe cabinet and moved away, watching. It seems that worked! When my cat was alone once more, he pulled it out, rolled it around on the floor, clawed it, dragged it, rolled around on the floor and even hugged it to himself. Amazing!

This discovery only allowed me to see that to have fun, there's no border of age, gender or species, but the way you have fun. Some ways are strange and unexpected, but if my shoe is what brings enjoyment to my little feline friend, let him play with it. The only thing I do from time to time is kick it back under the cabinet, since it seems that the fact that it's hidden and disallowed provides some of the mischievous fun this creature pulls from it.
